PLEASE MAKE SURE TO READ ALL OF THIS INFORMATION PRIOR TO STARTING THE REGISTRATION.

Registrations must be submitted and approved by the deadlines sent out in the registration emails. Notifications will be sent out via email to all parents at the Junior High School. 

 

• We encourage you to register for all of the sports you're wanting your athlete to participate in during the entire school year. You will only be able to select one sport per season.  It is easy for us to change a sport later on or remove your athlete from a sport.

 

• Registration should take approximately 10-15 minutes per athlete to complete once you have all the required documents completed. 

 

• Do not start and stop your registration. The system will not save your information!

 

• Once your registration is completed you will receive a "submitted" email as a receipt for your submission. 

 

BEFORE YOU START THIS REGISTRATION

ONLY BEGIN REGISTRATION WHEN YOU HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO COMPLETE IN ONE SITTING AND YOU HAVE THE INFORMATION/DOCUMENTS LISTED BELOW READY FOR UPLOAD:

 

1. 2022-23 CAA PHYSICAL FORM:

• We will only be able to accept 2022-23 CAA Physical Forms.
• Forms must be filled out completely and all signatures must be on the forms. 
• All physicals completed on a different year's form will not be accepted.
• There are 5 total pages  AND 1 CAA waiver form to this physical and all pages must be uploaded to your athlete's registration.

 

2. HEALTH INSURANCE INFORMATION

Athletes must be insured to be able to participate in athletics at Odyssey. You can now take a photo of the front and back of your insurance card or manually enter the information.

 

3. EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION

 Please have this information ready to enter prior to starting the registration process.

  

4. NEW CAA REQUIRED BRAIN BOOK ONLINE COURSE

Follow these steps to complete the course:

1. Go to https://learn.barrowneuro.org/login/index.php

2. Click to create an account or log in as a student on the page. Fill out the account creation information and the organization is "Canyon Athletic Association".  School is "THE ODYSSEY INSTITUTE".

3. Select the sport your athlete is taking the test (select the first sport they are choosing to play). *Choose your athlete's grade 6th (Select Not Applicable) 7th, 8th. Once registration is complete log in if you do not have an account already.

4. Complete Brain Book Course (ONLY NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED ONCE).

*Athletes under 13 years of age must have an adult assist them in completing the course.

 

YOU DO NOT NEED TO UPLOAD THE CERTIFICATE. THE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT STAFF WILL CHECK THE COMPLETION OF EACH COURSE WHILE APPROVING YOUR CHILD'S REGISTRATION. 

 

ATHLETIC FEE INFORMATION:

AN INVOICE WILL BE CREATED AND SENT TO YOU ONCE THE TEAM ROSTERS ARE FINALIZED. PAYMENTS ARE NOT BEING ACCEPTED DURING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS.
